Help (H-Bomb)
Hi friends. What do you do when you've got the blues and you want to cheer yourself up? Retail therapy...food fest...movie marathon...exercise 'til you drop...vindictive vandalism...rearrange furniture...test drive cars? I'm in a pickle and sure would like to get out. What works for you???

when did you write this? before we rearranged furniture and test-drove a car or after?
all the things you mentioned are good things. sometimes writing in a journal helps as well. then you can look back and see how far you've come.
you can call your friends . . . who can help you arrange furniture and make you test drive a car . . .make that suffer through injurious stopping and starting as they learn to drive stick.
ok, this is about to suck, but sometimes you have to live through the blue part as hard as it is. sorry. at least you have friends who love you.
thanks amy. i appreciate the love and support. right now i can't even see to the other side, much less imagine getting there. rearranging furniture and cleaning out my closets gives me something to do but also reminds me of how meaningless everything seems now. i know, i know, it'll get better eventually. whatever.
here's my list: pick apples on top of carter's mountain (the view is splendid). garden. make an elaborate dinner at a friend's house with a bottle of good wine. go hiking. join netflix. volunteer with women build (it is amazing to actually build a house). mow the lawn (holly would disagree). do you want company for outtings?
hope, those are great suggestions, thanks. i was just thinking about going to carter's mountain sometime soon and maybe some other fall fest sorts of events. i'd love company for outings of most any variety, really, so thanks for offering. maybe we can come up with something fun to do this saturday if you and leigh are free. walking the dogs is always an easy option...
get a motorcycle.
vroom vroom! maybe a scooter...
